Meet Our Team

Paul Brown

Founder, Head of Research

Paul founded UX Connect in 2023, having spent 18 years working within the consumer technology industry at Strategy Analytics. In his most recent role, he was Director of Projects within the UX Innovation Practice, where he was responsible for scoping out projects, undertaking hands on research, and delivering actionable insights to multinational companies. Before that, he led Strategy Analytics’ Mobile Device UX team, where his areas of research included smartphones, mobile operating systems, smart wearables, mobile accessories, mobile internet services, applications and media.

As Head of Research at UX Connect, Paul oversees all UX research studies across mobile devices, media, smart home and the connected vehicle. He also supports clients in developing their user experience strategies.

Paul has undertaken thousands of hours of consumer research across the world and has successfully led multi-country projects for leading companies using a variety of methodologies, including surveys, focus groups, usability testing, ethnography, longitudinal studies, and technical performance benchmarking. Paul holds a BSc in Management Science and Statistics from the University of Wales, Swansea.
